Remember when those words,
used to flow so easily,
like the river where we got lost.

love letters on little post-notes.
Remember when our laughter,
filled the never ending staircases,
we were lost in the moment, in bliss.
Remember when we walked,
into the garden, into the woods,
“This is just the beginning,” you’d said
Remember that night?
I left.
You chased me.
I came back.
No more remembering.
No more making new memories.
You left.
I chased you.
You’re gone.

Eternity

Time, please slow,
I never want to let you go.
Stars, don’t fade away,
For eternity here I could lay.
Fireflies, don’t be shy,
You’re safe in the night sky.
Moon, stay so bright,
I need your guidance, your light.
Morning sun,

Early birds,

Missing The Bliss

Laughs, smiles, sighs,
secrets spread clockwise.
Overwhelmed in this crowd,
adrift on my own cloud.
When will someone see,
my laughs, smiles, and sighs aren’t me
If someone would only look
into my eyes
they’d see all the flaws
in my disguise.
Everyone surrounding me is in bliss
and here I am,
stuck with this loneliness.
